I just happened upon this place when I found a promotion online...and it's a good thing I followed up! Zorka has over 30 years of massage experience (though she must've started when she was a teenager!), plus a background in nursing...and it definitely shows!! She combines about five different styles of massage into one fluid hour, and by the time you walk out, your body and mind are completely refreshed...and the next day it's even BETTER!! I was having excruciating lower back pain for about two weeks--which my doctor told me was NOT muscular in nature--but I figured I'd try massage, since I'd already tried everything else, and the pain really couldn't have gotten much worse. It's been a few years since I had a professional massage, but I used to get them on a bi-weekly basis for years (when I was much more physically active), so I've had my fair share of great massages, horrible massages, and everything in between. Zorka did an excellent job of talking to me beforehand and allowing me to fill out a form regarding any medical conditions or medications that she should be aware of. She gave me the right amount of time to change and get situated before the massage, and her draping technique and bedside manner were excellent. She did not talk at all during the massage--which I definitely prefer--but she's a very good conversationalist, so I would assume that she can talk during the massage, if that's what you prefer. Her choice of music and scents were very calming--not invasive--and by the time she was done I not only felt completely RELAXED, but totally refreshed! After my first massage, we spent a good amount of time talking about what I should do to make the most of the massage treatment, etc...I had a lot of questions. She also has shower facilities that are beautiful and immacuately clean, although I didn't use them (it's just me; I prefer to shower at home so I can fall straight to sleep), AND she does house-calls. If I had any space to fit a massage table at my house, I'd definitely opt for that!! Overall, I'd rate Zorka as one of the top 2 or 3 massage therapists that I've ever been to...in my life! And that includes the 4 or 5 hotel spas that I've been to! Not only does she have all the most important things covered, but there were a lot of extra little touches that were great...and had me back for my 2nd massage less than 2 weeks later!!
