”Have you hugged your child today?"

 The Critical Importance of touch!

Because children need touch for survival. Their growth and development thrive on touch. And how will they learn about love and affection if not through touch?

In some countries massage is also used as a familial nurturing routine.  Massages are likely to nurture the parent as much as the child. Massaging also allows parent to know their child’s body better, and imparts the message to the child that touch is good.
