Pediatric massage service offers three types of service for children:
1. "PARENT MASSAGE TRAINING PROGRAM"
Group classes are 1 (one) hour session for 6 (six) weeks series.
We welcome parents, grandparents and caregivers with children of any age.
Each class offers a natural way for parents to connect and bond with their child. During the class, the instructor will guide parent(s) how to massage their children. Parents and children will have time to relax and practice at their own pace.
Every parent and child will have the opportunity to ask questions during their individual consultation time. Besides practicing massage techniques, the session covers information about parenting, massage benefits, when give massage, how to calm the child and more.
Each group is based on the age and development of the child within their growth stages.
Age groups are: 1. Birth to crawling, 2. Toddlers, 3. Preschool, 4. School, 5. Adolescent
2. "PREVENTIVE & NURTURING MASSAGE"
Helps reduce anxiety, chronic pain, daily school stress, and releases muscle tension from working with computers or playing video games and sport activities.
Private session is available for children for 1 (one) hour with presence of guardian in massage room.
A) Simultaneous – Child and parent receiving massage at same time
B) Child session - Child is receiving massage and parent is relaxing and observing.
3. "CHILDREN THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE"
Which focuses on families who have children with special needs, such as Diabetes, ADHD, Cancer, HIV, Autism, etc.
FIMASE-is recognized by an official National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as Center of Excellence. It achieved this distinction by promoting the highest professional standards in massage therapy, which were developed to ensure that the integrity and safety of all clients are protected.
Classes are ongoing and available throughout the year. Families may enroll at any time.
